Description:

Ironwood Gap, an industrious clearing at the base of the Savron Mountains, has always had its share of problems nipping at the heels of its prosperity. Cave-ins, rock slides, late summer snow melt, and the infamous Blackmane Wolf Pack to name a few. But as War has come to the Savron Mountains, it has brought a new crisis to the denizens of this clearing. The Lord of Hundreds and his bands of raiders march towards the clearing, to pillage it for valuables like they have two others before. The village’s leaders, heads of the timber and iron industries respectively, are at an impasse on which Imperious power, the Marquise de Cat or the Underground Mole Duchy, to beseech for aid. Others yet think there may be another way to save their town without needing to bend the knee to the more civil invaders…

Perhaps one such option could be the wandering band of Vagabonds who just arrived in town.

Root RPG is a PtbA system game, focused on storytelling. You take the role of Vagabonds: miscreants, wanderers, and adventurers who are willing to brave the dangers of the forest to survive. Root is set in an expanse of woodland, with the clearings that make up the society inhabited by creatures of the forest. Owls, Foxes, Mice, Birds, Rabbits and more. But the cute appearance of the denizens shouldn’t distract, the fate of the Woodlands is decided by Might and Wit.
