This is a modification of the Leverage rules set in the world of Scott Lynch’s “Gentlemen Bastards” series of novels.
The TV series was amazing, too, and they knew enough to end it when it needed to be ended.
Kevin, you should be fine. The game is basically fantasy Ocean’s Eleven. Don’t worry too much about being prepared. A deep knowledge of the source material isn’t required, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have here or at the table 🙂
Shaun – I’m not familiar with the books yet. I’ve read the Leverage RPG, and played a ton of Shadowrun in college. Will that, plus some familiarity with Fafhrd & the Grey Mouser, be reasonable prep for the game?
I have got to thank you for introducing me to this series of books. What an amazing and inventive city! Great read, especially if you like heist or long con stories.
