Good god. I just read this, regarding the holiday season: “The Food Bank is serving 1 in 6 residents of Alameda County – nearly half of them children and teens.” Is anything wrong with this picture? Sigh.
Speaking of which, we should bring non-perishable food items as donations for the Alameda County Food Bank, right? I see they have a shopping list indicating some of the items that are most useful.
