Description:

In 1954, the US government ordered the construction of the world’s largest particle accelerator. The facility was completed in 1969, located just north of the California coastal town of Monterey. The local population called this giant underground ring The Loop. Many amazing technologies have come out of the work done at The Loop — magnetrine flight, massive robots, even weirder and more dangerous things that the government has kept secret.

But that’s stuff that’s always been around. It’s 1981 and you are just a kid in junior high, hanging out with your friends after school playing with the new Mattel Intellivision, going to see the Flash Gordon remake at the Salinas Fox Cinema, and being dragged by your parents to see some boring concert with a Russian musician. But for some reason your best friend Joan claims she wasn’t playing Astrosmash on the Intellivision all day last Saturday… and your dad says he somehow missed seeing Clara Rockmore perform at that concert… and although you went on opening day, you can’t remember almost anything about the plot of Flash Gordon

Tales from the Loop is a game of kids solving mysteries in a town where strange machines and even stranger occurrences have become commonplace. It’s exciting and dangerous and an escape from their everyday lives where they have to deal with arguing parents, bullies at school, and teachers that hate them.
