Description:
Mars Colony began as a playground in space. Now it is dying, torn apart by environmental hazards, shoddy infrastructure, and social unrest. You, Kelly Perkins, are an expert hired to turn the Colony around. When you arrived on Mars, the people greeted you as a savior. But now you fear your abilities have waned. Perhaps you are overwhelmed or under-qualified; regardless, your shortcomings are still a secret. The people love you, you’re famous, you’re the Colony’s last great hope–and you’re tasked with the impossible.
Mars Colony is a GMless political RPG for two players. One player takes the role of Kelly Perkins, sent to Mars to try to fix the problems with Mars Colony. Kelly has access to all of the Colony’s resources, but success is not guaranteed. The other player takes the role of the “Governor”, introducing complications and playing Kelly’s opposition. Sometimes the Colony is its own worst enemy.
For this special con-sized session of Mars Colony, I will facilitate multiple tables of two players each. No need to read or prepare anything beforehand: I will teach everyone how to play as we walk through the steps together. Many tables means many amazing stories!
