Panelists

Elise Rezendes (she/they) is an artist and designer with a love for production detail. From games, costumes, production, terrain, photography, to prop making, and more; she is usually managing a creative mess somewhere or another behind the scenes.

Gabe Hicks (he/they) is a designer and storyteller for games in most senses. Whether it’s writing narrative, voice and characters, or performing live storytelling is a passion and a privilege. Born and raised a Pennsylvania native Gabe has stayed on the East Coast hoping to build up more of his passions in the area and give news storytellers the same opportunities he has had.

Banana Chan (she/they/he) is a Cantonese Canadian game designer, writer and publisher living in the US. Her latest work has been on Deimos Academy, Exquisite Crime, Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall, Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft and Betrayal at House on the Hill: 3rd Edition. They go to bed with their Dicebreaker Awards’ Game Designer of the Year 2022 and 2 Silver ENnie Awards.

Jeeyon Shim (she/they) — 🌸 Diana Jones Emerging Designer Award Winner 🌸 IndieCade 2021 Nominee 🌸 https://jeeyonshim.itch.io/ 🌸 https://www.patreon.com/jeeyonshim 🌸 https://www.tiktok.com/@jeeyonshim 🌸

Anya Combs (she/her) has been in the games industry for over a decade wearing many hats. She got her start in Developer Relations at AddictingGames.com, had a semi-brief stint at Nickelodeon, eventually finding her way to Kickstarter where she was the Director of Games for a number of years. She currently works in tabletop games at BackerKit and consults with game creators looking to run crowdfunding projects, build their communities, and market their games. When not entrenched in the world of games, Anya is a freelance musician in NYC, playing saxophone all over the tri-state area.
