Description:
Dumuzi (Do-Moo-Z), a small biotech firm, claims they have developed a means to cure Metahuman changes in children of age seven and under. In their official press release, Dumuzi states their newest gene therapy suppresses abnormal gene alterations completely triggered by Metahumanity.
“After just six weeks your child can be restored to their natural state. As monstrous as that might sound, the truth may be far worse.”

Parents of older children are reporting strange personality quirks from returning kids, or behaviors they can’t explain. Dumuzi has stated that the therapy can lead to some minor behavioral changes, and that this is what you should expect from a child going to a summer camp. They simply have more life experience.
Note: The following adventure explores dehumanization, eugenics, racism, heterosexism, politics / political manipulation – fear mongering , gaslighting, child endangerment / imprisonment, abduction, and social manipulation. Additionally, this adventure focuses on parents that feel their children can be “fixed” or otherwise “made normal ” and is pulled from the tragedy of gay conversion camps along with recent real world events, which may induce strong emotions or reactions from players. Please review with your players the Tone, Lines, and Veils of your Campaign before introducing this adventure. Metahumans Rising is inspired by classic comics and superheroes. The game rewards creative play and encourages heroics. This game are designed to help introduce new players to the setting and system, and will provide everything you need to jump into the action.
