*Apocalypse Pony is a hack of Apocalypse World, so much of the story will be player driven. Because of this, there is a higher-than-normal potential for triggering issues, and players should give thought to issues they might want to veto prior to coming to the table.

Hey Ed, I’m not as familiar as I want to be with Equestria & the world of My Little Pony as I’d like to be, so I started watching the most recent series today – is that my best bet, becoming familiar with Generation 4? Or will you be drawing inspiration from earlier versions of MLP instead?
I am going for the broad concepts of MLP, not really the history or Equestria. Really all you need to watch are the first couple of episodes so you know things like who Princess Luna is and what the Nightmare Moon is. In terms of the timeline, imagine that the main characters tanked the mission to find the Elements of Harmony in episodes #1 & 2, and the Nightmare Moon brought on the apocalypse – that was many years ago, and Equestria is now a pretty horrible place.
Of course! Also, if I have time I may run the game again in open gaming!
