Description:
Do you enjoy repeatedly stabbing fabric? Or brandishing one or two pointy sticks? Does the idea of untangling a ball of yarn fill you with excitement, rather than the more commonly accepted dread? If you said yes to any of these questions, or if you just want to get together with folks and be crafty, you should come to the Official Big Bad Con Stitch ‘N Bitch event!
A few things- this isn’t a class, so don’t come expecting someone to teach you to knit, crochet, cross stitch, tat, weave, etc. There may be folks who want to teach, but you should line that up here in the comments or with your friends beforehand.
If local folks want to bring extra tools & materials, that’d be cool! If there’s an excess we can donate to charity.
Also- the title implies textile crafting, but feel free to bring whatever craft you like. Let’s just get together and make stuff, yeah? If Jenn wasn’t flying she’d totally bring her 3d printer, but it’s not a convenient travel machine.

I have an orphan skein of lavender Malabrigo that I’m not using, and I may trawl my stash for other pretty one-skein traders.
Does anyone want books, needles, or project bags? I’ve got a few to rehome as well.
I also have a ton of Embroidery Floss that I’m going to bring with me if anyone is in need.
I am local and have a massive supply of cross-stitch floss!
@Kevan it’s going to be a lot of fun! I know someone who’s planning on bringing patches to sew onto a jacket! We’ll have a bunch of crafts represented! <3
I’m actually looking forward to this as much as I am the gaming.
@Tomer that sounds great! I’m looking forward to it!
What a great idea!!! I’m don’t posses any thread-fu skills, but I always bring some stuff to color for much needed downtime mode, so this will be on my radar.
