Description:
“Leave no man behind”, “Never quit”…they spoon fed us that shit and a whole lot more, starting on the day we enlisted and they kept repeating that crap right up to the point the 5th Divison got overrun by Russian armor units outside Lodz. Yeah, right up to the point they abandoned us over a hundred miles behind enemy lines. Sure it had happened before…the Argonne, the Vosges and the Ardennes…only this time no one came for us.
They did get one thing right with all their creeds, cadences and indoctrination…in the end, all you have is the soldier to the left and right of you.
After it’s success last year, I decided that there were more tales to be told by the members of the 5th Infantry Divison(Mech) and it’s fateful tour of the Polish countryside. Old schoolers be warned though, this isn’t a traditional T2K game of gun porn and TO&E. We be using a striped down Fate hack to focus on the storytelling aspects of the game. Think of it as lubricating a 240B with pachouli oil.
