Description:

Emerging Threats Unit is an action-investigation game about a secret CDC paranormal armed response team. An outbreak happens in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you’re sent in to eradicate it — knowing that if you fail, the city will be destroyed in order to contain the threat.

This is in the vein of Delta Green, Unknown Armies, Pandemic, Fringe, the Twenty Palaces series, Global Frequency, and the Laundry series. Mash those inspirations in a blender. The system is custom-made for this sort of story and action, where the characters are competent physically and mentally, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t costs and consequences to successful action.
