Description:

With the founding of New Gyr, refugees who had their homeworld destroyed decades prior finally have another planet to call home. They gather together on the newly settled planet to revive their traditions, beginning with the Silent Conversation — a council where representatives from all the Gyra tribes come together to voice their concerns, share information, and resolve disputes. Much has been lost in the decades following Old Gyr’s destruction, including most of the traditional sign language that was used in the Silent Conversations.

Representatives from different tribes come to tell the stories of their homelands lost, and to share their gods, their traditions, and their way of life. They seek a chance to give voice to what might otherwise be forgotten, and to rebuild their cultures. Stories only half remembered by one can be reclaimed by this group; gods that perished with their planet may be reborn. Together they can start to rebuild, slowly, starting with their stories and the language they once used to tell them.

Come play in an emotional sci-fi game set in the universe of Event Horizon! Flesh out the traditions, myths, and language of a culture coming back from the edge of extinction. No prior knowledge of the Event Horizon universe is necessary. There will be a workshop at the beginning to teach you everything you need to know to play this standalone game.
