Description:

We have felt the weight of our family’s expectations for as long as we can remember. Our elders risked everything to raise us in this land of opportunity. Our elders’ time has come and they need us to inherit the family’s legacy. Our family has granted you their blessing to undergo a long-awaited rite of passage in order for us to claim what is expected. They gave their blessing to each of us because they know we feel compelled to preserve the family line.

Navigate your identity between two worlds, two cultures.

This game is Descended from the Queen and is a hack of Alex Robert’s For the Queen. We’ll be taking turns answering prompt cards to collaboratively build characters and the world they inhabit. The prompt cards explore questions that children of immigrants struggle with when searching for belonging and balance between two different cultures.
