MISSION BRIEFING
Noted villainess Genevieve Larreau has kidnapped Dr. Felix Fendelmann, a Nobel-winning chemist, and has been forcing him to develop a new, mind-altering drug that she intends to employ in her machinations to subvert Western civilization. Thanks to a source within Mademoiselle Larreau’s organization, it has come to the agency’s attention that Dr. Fendelmann is being held at a secret research laboratory on a small island off the coast of western Africa.

Under the cover of darkness, your team will infiltrate the lab, destroy or neutralize the drug and any copies of its formula, obtain whatever information you can about Mademoiselle Larreau’s current or future activities, and bring Dr. Fendelmann and our informant home safely. You’d better get going. Your transport is wheels-up in 22 minutes, and the free world is counting on you!

Operation: Rapidstrike! was the tournament scenario for TOP SECRET featured at GenCon XIII in 1980. For Big Bad Con 2015, we’ll be running the adventure using Savage Worlds (for fast, furious, fun) and agent dossiers from the Fox Force Five TV show pilot imagined in the film Pulp Fiction. Think late‘70s and early ‘80s TV shows like Charlie’s Angels, Magnum, P.I., and The A Team combined with the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only.
