Description:
A friend and colleague invites a group of Estate agents to play a Halloween-themed board game at her remote house northeast of Seattle. But in the a world influenced by the Strange, a simple board game can turn deadly dangerous.
The Strange is set on modern day Earth. A few people—a very few people—have discovered how to travel to other places. They call them recursions, and they’re like limited pocket dimensions with their own laws of reality, connected to Earth via a dark, dangerous and chaotic energy network they call the Strange. In the game, you play agents of a secret organization—the Estate—who guard Earth from threats emanating from the Strange and recursions. The game is based on the Cypher system, also used in Numenéra.
