Description:

Generations is a storytelling game where you describe the changes in a group of people over three generations, as events unfold in the world. You get to create characters, describe backstories and relationships, and choose who pairs off with whom. New generations inherit traits from their parents, like personality type and sweet anime hair.

Typically Generations is set either in high fantasy or a generation ship setting. When play is complete, the board looks like a family tree. Generations is in early development, so expect it to be a bit rough around the edges. Ideally, players have some experience with storytelling games (like Microscope), which means being able to go with the flow in a shared story and come up with descriptions of people, their activities, and their personalities.
