Genrenauts is a dimension-hopping game of story heists, Forged in the Dark. Think Leverage meets Planetary and TimeWatch.
In Genrenauts, our Earth is just one of many in a multiverse. Each other Earth is the home to a familiar narrative genre: Fantasy, Romance, Crime, etc. Each world is constantly playing out stories from its genre — archetypes and tale types smashing up against one another making tragedies and happily-ever-afters. But when a story goes off-track, the narrative breach snowballs and creates disastrous ripples across the multiverse. To protect the multiverse, Genrenauts step in to find and fix the broken stories.
