Description:
Improv comedy and role-playing games have a lot in common: communal world-building, consistent characters, and honest emotional reactions. This workshop has role-players learn and perform a series of short-form improv games and scenes. These teach communication and storytelling skills often over-looked in the casual setting of a gaming group. Everything from “yes, and” to finding the game to the economy of words will be covered. Players will leave having a deeper understanding of their choices in role-playing games and be able to craft more incredible stories through play. We will also laugh a bunch and have a great, silly time.
The workshop’s facilitator, Alexander Jerabek, is a pro player with ComedySportz Seattle. There, he performs weekly for audiences of all ages and tastes. Once, an audience member threw a $20 bill at him. That was cool. Alexander has been with CSz Seattle for two years, doing improv theatre for four, and GMing RPGs for fifteen.

Ah well let me know if things change and you want back in and I’ll swap with you. Thanks!
I wouldn’t want to take your place if you want and can participate.
