A short ritual of dramatic identity

You are iconically dramatic. You are deeply significant. You are the keys to the pulse of the city. You are the inspiration for the tales they tell of this mysterious place.

Come together to create a stylized sequence to express a set of intertwined identities, linked to our real environment. (Check out the video link above for a quasi-example.) There is no storytelling or plot in Keymaster: the focus is on creating a kind of showreel of the characters with the hint of plot.

This game is designed for that experience of seeing a cool space and thinking, “I wish I could play or do something here!” Keymaster allows us to “populate the real world with mythic meaning”, and imbue the spaces around us with a deep sense of narrative and atmosphere.

Rounds are quick, and everything is created on the fly. Feel free to bring a range of quick costuming if desired.

Full text of the game can be found here. Golden Cobra writeup here.

There are no content warnings. Gameplay-wise, there will be simple improvisation of prose.
