Description:

Inspired by books like Harriet the Spy, Encyclopedia Brown and Nancy Drew, Kid Detective is a game of middle school kids solving mysteries in their sleepy Midwest town of Ida Falls. You might discover who stole the winning science fair project, figure out who vandalized the beloved school mascot or track down the missing class gecko. Meanwhile, a deeper conspiracy lurks. The adults of Ida Falls are up to No Good and it’s up to you to uncover their secrets. This game features hijinks, childhood friendships, and pinning clues on a board then connecting them with string.

The core mechanics are inspired by Brindlewood Bay and the Between. Downtime and recovery rules are adapted from Slugblaster. The game encourages collaboration and allows players to figure out the mystery one step at a time.
