Microscope is a game of fractal history where we collaboratively creating an epic fictional timeline, a new world of our own creation. We start from a blank slate, and end with a whole new world. We can create Empires spanning decades or centuries, destroy it, then go back and zoom in to see the people who began it all. We can go back and forward in time at will, and zoom in or out to view things on a large scale, or in one personal scene of individuals.
