Description:
William Shakespeare has become estranged from his daughter. In an effort to understand how things went so wrong, he asks a group of his friends to help him write, rehearse, and mount a play concerning his and his daughter’s relationship. Some of his friends are talented actors, others not so much – but all of them have insight and opinions into his daughter’s true nature, and what has driven them apart.
My Daughter, the Queen of France is an experimental, literary, and emotional game about the complicated relationship between parents and children, and authors and plays. It does many strange things and asks a lot of its players, and its rewards are in proportion to its difficulty.
Please note that you do not need to know anything about William Shakespeare or his plays to enjoy this game. This is NOT a historical game.
This game is unlikely to go the full 4 hours, and the rules of the game allow players to leave at any point.
