Description:
There are 5 patients sitting at a table. They don’t know how they got there. They don’t know who they are. They don’t even know whose memory is whose. But they do know that they’re going to find out.
As described at rpg.net – In A Penny For My Thoughts “The players cooperate in building each other’s stories, ending with the story of how they came to lose their memories. The system is entirely narrative and lacks randomizers. During each scene, one player’s character is the “traveler”, whose memories are being investigated. The other players take turns asking leading/guiding questions, which frame the scene. The traveler’s player must accept the questions as true, but can further develop the idea. The game them proceeds to a decision point, where two alternate paths are laid out and the player must choose one. There are several decisions as each strand of memory is explored. ”
Sheets and pennies provided. We’ll go over off-limits subject areas beforehand.
*Content warning: themes of amnesia present in the game and decision points with limited player agency
