Description:

The corrupt and powerful Fortress, an envoy warband of advanced aliens, have taken control of Earth and enslaved its inhabitants. For the sake of a world all-but-exhausted by war, a group of guerilla Mech pilots known as Pirate Radio rise up against their extraterrestrial oppressors. Their mission? Protect the last slivers of our shattered autonomy from irredeemably nasty quislings with or without your oversized, robotic combat vehicles.

pirateROBO takes a light-hearted, buoyant approach to a bleak dystopia, wielding Angille’s 2018 “cog-standard mecha” build of the Cortex Prime RPG to deliver dramatic mechanized combat scenes laced with tense, operatic interpersonal radio chatter.

Cortex is a mildly crunchy TTRPG system suitable for new players.
