Join this panel of experienced designers and playtesters as they share their experiences on how to find playtesters, how and when to start playtesting your game, what to do when you actually sit down to playtest, how to give and take feedback, tips for being a better playtester, and how to implement playtest feedback.
Panelists
Aaron Lim (he/him) is a designer of tabletop games and games educator based in Malaysia. His work ranges from board and card games to story games and tabletop RPGs. Most of his work is self-published at ehronlime.itch.io and crowdfunded through Kickstarter.
Adam Bell (he/him) is a tabletop designer from Pittsburgh, PA USA who enjoys exploring the design space between traditional role-playing games and board games. His games include Legend Has It, Grasping Nettles, and My Brain is a Stick of Butter.
Logan Timmins (he/him) is a queer, trans tabletop game designer and consultant living on Wurundjeri Country. He makes games of connection and self-reflection, and one time won an award for LOGAN: An Autobiographical Tabletop Game. Outside of TTRPGs, Logan enjoys forest walks, tattoos, and being a newbie plant dad.
Takuma Okada (any pronouns) is a trans Japanese-American game designer creating tabletop games and music under the name No Road Home. They like to design games about strange and magical places, the everyday moments that occur there, and the sublime.
Thomas Manuel (he/him) is a journalist, playwright and game designer. He’s the writer of the Indie RPG Newsletter and the current host of the Yes Indie’d Podcast.
