Description:

Spirit Island is a complex and thematic cooperative game about defending your island home from colonizing Invaders. Players are different spirits of the land, each with its own unique elemental powers.—BoardGameGeek

Spirit Island is a fully cooperative game supporting 1-4 players, each of whom is an ancient spirit of the island. The players must work together to spread their presence across the land, fighting back and/or scaring off invaders as they go and working with the native peoples of the land (the Dahan) along the way.

Newcomers and experienced players are all welcome! The game takes about an hour to teach (which includes initial setup), and playtime is roughly 45 minutes per player (this speeds up with experience and slows down with difficulty, but is a good estimate for a basic game with entirely new players). If we have a full table of 4 players, I’m happy to sit on the sidelines and help people out when needed, and if we’ve got fewer then I’ll probably jump in and join the group.
