Description:
On a very, very, very, very hot summer day what could be better than a trip into the cool dark mountains with human school children willing to share their tasty snacks? Telling spooky ghost stories by firelight and pairing up two-by-two to investigate a long-forgotten shrine, that’s what.
Golden Sky Stories is a translation of the Japanese nonviolent RPG Yuuyake Koyake, in which animals with a little bit of magic (enough to make themselves look human more or less, and do a few tricks) live quietly alongside humans in a small rural town. Sometimes they help people by showing them the world is a better place than they think. It’s a game for telling small, heart-warming stories. There are 1000 RPGs where you can solve problems with violence. This is not one of them. I’ll happily teach the rules with a kind heart.

Yeah! I LIKE this new booking system; I don’t think I’d get into a Carl game on the second go-around with out. And hi John! We’re going to game together!
Neat! Sounds great! 😀
I don’t feel so bad losing out to Bruce.
Now I feel bad, Eric. I’m glad my BBC game sign-up skills haven’t atrophied.
You feel bad? Good. Mission accomplished. I will now be able to relish how this guilt will taint your play experience! Mua-ha-ha-ha!
(but my back up choice for this slot also sounds pretty great, so I might forget to relish)
Yeah! I got in! 😀 I always wanted to play in one of Carl’s games, I KS Golden Sky Stories, and I have two kids and plan to run this for them. 🙂
