Description:

The Adam of Your Labors is a 2-player story game about a scientist and their recently-animated creature creation trying to understand and interact with one another. As the Scientist, one player will attempt to communicate, examine, feed, and understand this bizarre new life form. As the Creature, the other player will explore this strange world in which they’ve been born, and begin to discover and exercise their fledgling supernatural powers!

Characters are chosen and customized from pre-written Scientist Types (Intern, Top-Tier Professor, Rogue Tinkerer, or Fringe Mystic) and Creature Types (Amorphous Blob, Sentient Plant, Bio-Tech Hybrid, or Aquatic Bug). Players then dive into the story, which plays out in four Acts: their first encounter in the lab, attempts at feeding and communication in the Scientist’s home, a radical overnight transformation, and the pivotal final decision each character will make toward to their bizarre counterpart.

This game is generally plays out as a lighthearted, slightly goofy sci-fi exploration story, but if both players in a session are excited to go in a more horrific or ultra-cute direction, the game can fully support that as well.

Since this is a 2-player game, we’ll be splitting off in pairs to play separately, and then come back together at the end to share our wild stories! I will be a player/facilitator or just a facilitator depending on if we have an even or odd number of sign-ups.
