Description:

Welcome to historic Auriga, home of the Academy Altair and its famous observatory (finest in the Empire!). Who is the phantasmal tenor whose arias haunt the alleyways? What ghastly revels take place by night in the Violet Library? And will professor Binford reach the heavens in her marvelous balloon? One thing’s for sure: there’s definitely no extraterrestrials, vampires, or soothsayers here! This is a world of logic and we will understand and conquer it through experimentation and exploration.

Think: His Dark Materials (Pullman), Miskatonic University (Lovecraft mythos), and other settings where Enlightenment thinking collides headfirst with the utterly inexplicable.

The Echoing City is an acephalous (GM-less) urban fantasy TTRPG in which players control their characters and also claim responsibility for specific roles traditionally assigned to the game master (Scene setting, pacing, consistency of lore, etc.)
