Description:

Prom is right around the corner for the students of Moorwood High—a quiet town near a placid lake. That would be enough stress, if there wasn’t an interdimensional Monster on the loose trying to ruin it all for you. Guess the town isn’t so quiet after all.

EMERGENT is an investigative horror ttrpg where you play as highschoolers that discover they have superpowers and must fight interdimensional monsters, inspired by media like Stranger Things, Supernatural, and X-men. You can’t win a straight fight, so players must track down the monster, examine the sites of its attacks, observe its behavior, explore its lair, and find its weaknesses—and then exploit them using their powers and ingenuity with a streamlined crafting system. Finally, engage in punchy, streamlined combat focused around teamwork and creative, cooperative use of your powers to bring it down!
