Description:
This game is designed for people who have not seen Highlander 2. In fact, the less you know about Highlander as a franchise, the better.
The game:
It’s 1990. The players are a writing team who’ve been tapped to draft a sequel to the 1986 modern fantasy classic, Highlander. They’re locked up with nothing but pencils, paper, and coffee. If a full story outline and dialogue for the key scenes aren’t finished by the end of the session, nobody will work in this town again.
The movie production’s details are still being worked out, so challenges will come up during the drafting process. But you’re the best of the best or you wouldn’t be in this writing room, so don’t sweat it! You can do this!
A note for the anxious (like your GM):
Don’t spoil the game for yourself by looking up the rules. There’s GM-only info right out in the open and you’ll wreck your good time if you peek. They’re pleasant surprises. This is a goofy low-pressure good time. Your GM gets anxious about games with strangers too and understands the temptation, but go in blind if you can.
