Description:

A tourist town draped between a headland and an estuary, Cascadia Beach bustles all summer and the warren prospers – but when the humans leave and the rains begin the pickins get slim. The wild heights-rabbits sneer at the town-rabbits while steadily losing ground to the puffins. The town-rabbits live a summer life of idleness and luxury interrupted only by speeding cars and stray dogs. The beach-rabbits hold themselves apart from the town and the headlands, yet rely on the other rabbits for food and aid in their liminal, ever-changing environs.
