Description:

Cross swords and fall in love in this game of queer action romance!

TSL is a story game that focuses on relationships and emotional drama with a motif of swordplay. Some things are worth fighting for, and TSL sword fights are likely to end in making out, mutual understanding, hurt feelings, or all of the above.

Several scenarios are available, ranging in tone from wacky to serious and spanning genres, to be determined at the table. You might be Gal Paladins in a fantasy setting, representatives of the interstellar realm of Queertopia, or covert revolutionaries getting into all manner of Sworded Affairs in the halls of power.

The PCs are all generally on the same side; the focus is not on player-versus-player intrigue. That said, PCs will likely have conflicting desires and could wind up crossing swords over disagreements (or to impress someone… or to flirt…).

We will use safety tools baked into the system as well as a standard safety tool such as X-Card or Stoplight. The game does not feature explicit sex or ‘sex moves.’
