Description:

“Tonight the dead may seek to live again. Those with unfinished business will come to our campfire. The night is short and sacrifices will be required. May we guide them skillfully this night. Come to our campfire, Ghosts who seek life!”

Ghosts is a live-action roleplaying game (LARP) written by Adam Kenney and Suko Toyofuku. This run is facilitated by Adam and Suko.

In this game, you are dead. Unhappy with the course that your life took, you want to reinvent yourself and return to life. But in order to do so, you must recall the aspects of yourself that served you well and create new aspects to replace the rest. With the help of the other Ghosts, you must make decisions and sacrifices in order to create a better life before the third Watch ends.

This LARP is rules-light, atmospheric, and very introspective. There’s no required costuming or makeup, but if you wish to costume as a ghost of indeterminate era, that will certainly add to the atmosphere. Veils will be provided for the introductory scene.

There are no pre-scripted characters, your character will be created during the course of the game.

Played this last week, and had a great time! The plot becomes more complex the more you remember and the more you interact with the other players. Can’t say more or it would be a spoiler, but would recommend!
