Description:

Heroes come from all races, all ages, genders, sizes, and abilities– so let’s show that in our games! The first hour will focus on current efforts made by companies and independent creators to make RPGs with more inclusive art, ways that artists can work hand in hand with writers and designers to spark players’ imaginations, and resources and strategies for artists and designers who want to do more to include underrepresented people/cultures in tabletop game art.

The second hour is a sketch jam– it’s no fun to just talk about drawing without doing it! Share ideas with other artists, bring your work on a sketchpad or tablet, get some poses with props or lighting if you need help with a concept. Participants in the sketch jam are responsible for bringing their own drawing materials and should be able to draw freely on their own without focused instruction.

(Note: Signing up for this event does not count against your sign up quota)
