Description:

“Long ago, your ancestors built great cities across the world. Now your tribe must explore forests, deserts, islands, mountains, and caverns to find these lost cities. Claim the ruins, build places of power, and restore the glory of a bygone age.” — BoardGameGeek

Unearth is a 2-5 player set-collection game based around collecting ruins (from an available display of five ruins) and stones (drawn randomly from a bag). Each turn, the active player chooses a die from their pool (composed of a d4, a d8, and three d6’s) and a ruin to roll on. A low roll (1-3) earns the player a stone, while a higher roll gives the player a better chance of earning the ruin later on. End-game points are granted for sets of similar ruins, along with wonders built from stones, so striking the right balance between the two is a key path to victory.

Unearth takes approximately 10 minutes to teach, and 45 minutes to play.
